But if you can, try out NRT-SFO on JL and connecting to SFO-DFW on AA. JL has an upgraded Shell Flat Neo seats on that 777-300 with large 15.4 IFE screens, and a nice Executive Class bar. The JL flights with these upgraded J seats and service give a nudge up than AA.

I looked at those flights: JL 2 arrives SFO at 10:15am. AA 2090 to DFW is at 11:25am, then AA 2552 to MCI. Could be cutting it close for an international arrival and going through customs/immigration. I don't know if AA would allow it as a legal connection. Later flights connecting on to MCI put us getting home 4 hours later than what I have reserved now.
