I'm curious because now that I don't live full-time in Boston, it would be useful / interesting for me to route trips back that way. But I've never been able to get a flight routed back there. For example, say I want to do DEN-IAD. Has anyone ever gotten DEN-BOS-IAD? The only carrier that I can imagine doing this is US, since I have seen (and flown) some stupid BOS-BUF-DCA-XXX itins before when I was too cheap to do the one-stop.
Flying a couple of turns through BOS in a few weeks to take advantage of the 3x miles for BOS-LAX along with their low fares. If you're trying to find some creative routing check out that run as you can get some great miles on a longer domestic run for a great price (right now).
Hope that answers what you were inquiring about. Happy flying.
