You need a BA account to check for availability but let us know the dates and we can check for you.
I would go definitely go via YYZ and I would definitely go for F; it’s only 25,000 miles more per person and a 10th anniversary is no small achievement in this day and age so go ahead and splurge.
I flew F on BA from YYZ-LHR a few months ago and I can only imagine the experience (on the ground at least) is superior to flying AA from BOS/JFK/ORD. A summary of my experience:
1) At BA Galleries First Lounge at YYZ, there is a pre-flight dining room where you can order off the menu. You can have a full three course meal there served with wines. There are also individual half bottles of Champagne.
2) Upon arrival at LHR, take advantage of the Concorde Breakfast Room in the Arrivals Lounge. This lounge is only for F passengers (and Premiers?). Enjoy a leisurely sit down breakfast with your wife while you wait for your complimentary back rub or facial at the Elemis treatment area.
3) When leaving LHR in both directions, enjoy the beautiful Concorde Room, again reserved for F passengers and Premiers. Enjoy another meal served to you course by course while you enjoy Champagnes such as Bollinger La Grande Annee 1999. Enjoy another back rub or facial at the Elemis treatment area. Call BA You First and reserve a private cabana to catch a few winks.
4) Oh, the in-flight service was very good too. Couples should try to reserve the two pairs of middle seats.
Enjoy.
