Yes. But a quick call to AA should get you what you want. I would definitely jump on the BA availability and the extra bit for F should definitely be worth it. Plus - that will get you into the Concorde Room at T5 at LHR which is allegedly awesome. I was in the Galleries First lounge (where they make the OW Emerald's go) and that was the best lounge I've ever been in. I would make sure your layovers at LHR will be long enough to enjoy it. Your wife will be very impressed and the ambiance will definitely make the trip special. And yes, I know I sound nuts saying all that about an airport lounge. Scotland will be even better.
