A question for Lurker perhaps?

AAA is a member of the "Show your card and save" program which includes affiliates clubs such as NRMA (the NSW, Australia, equivalent of AAA and CAA)

NRMA tells me that the affiliation works for AAA hotel discounts in the US, but wanted to check this with SomeoneWhoKnows™

Starwood T&Cs specify AAA or CAA membeship, but AAA website would imply that the Show Your Card and Save program includes affiliates

Any ideas?

Didn't want to book for my visits in June/July, turn up and be refused
