I just returned from a trip to St. Pierre et Miquelon (FSP) on which I flew Air St. Pierre from YUL to FSP. Now, the question remains whether I will receive miles as they are paired with AF, and their reservation system accepted my SM number?

The entire process reminded me of when I would be able to get credit for Cape Air travel by way of CO, but because of the transition to *A, that isn't going to happen any more.
