I hope not too OT but on two visits separated by a few months to the IAD RCC in the C gates (you enter and then go downstairs) we found the signal kicking in and kicking out, virtually unusable, and the same for three others strugglng with their laptops. We did manage to bring in our e-mail after a few tries and then the signal broke off again.
That happened to me recently. I assumed it was because the place was full of people all checking their email at the same time.
