I'm surprised it is as high as 10%. Most people take a long-haul holiday maybe a maximum of 1-2 times per year. I use my 241 voucher for my main holiday every year and then use BMI miles for any other long-haul trips and pay for short-haul trips. Having had a Gold card for 10 years I have never used a MFU.
