Is that only $US250 each way? Or some mystery numberBETWEEN $250 and $500?

Right NOW it is $1200 one way for paid upgrade.

I'm never buying a W fare ever again if they keep this madness up as W are THREE times the current W fare.
From WineCountryUA post the figures are in the FAQ but only ex-US , but also from the FAQ they co-pays are one-way. So I suppose if its $500 each way on a cheapo fare thats a good deal vs $1200 each way. Then again is that $1200 AUD? I suppose depending on how the co-pays work from outside the US (I'd guess its'd be the local currency equiv of the USD price) if its a good deal or not will depend on exchange ratess and if they do actually price it all in local currency or in USD.
