I dont know but honestly I hope they are the only ones. Thats the last thing needed...rewarding the lackadaisical. Plus what if somebody buys 7 seats then doesnt show up and the flights sold out? If they dont show up the airline just lost 7 possible revenue seats. Sure it eventually has to be used on another flight but I say bad idea, keep it how it is. If you are too lazy to call or show up then your loss. Of course there can be extenuating circumstances arise and in which case they usually will credit you if you call and make your "legitimate" case. Having a flat tire or something wouldnt be a legitimate excuse....after all you are supposed to arrive 2 hours early to give yourself PLENTY of time plus most people have cell phones
