I am travelling on an award flight Singapore to Bristol in september or at least I was until the final sector FRA to Bristol has been discontinued presumably because of the recession.( no other Star carriers cover than run). No chance on SQ because no J award seats on their 380s or 77Ws!

My options now are FRA to LHR with a delay for the connection in FRA or a more convenient FRA to LCY in business class – the question is whether the airport to train connection is better thru LCY or LHR.

I am guessing LHR is best though I dread that airport but there does not seem to be an easy way to get from LCY to Paddington .
