I don't think I'd ever had tomato juice until I flew BA in 1999. With a dash of Worcestershire sauce, it was quite enjoyable! (I was under 21 at the time, so apologies for not adding the appropriate alcohol... )
That's funny! I think I started getting served alcohol on TATL flights at the age of 15. I know BA definitely served me when I was 16, and again at 19.
Anyway, back to the thread, I love tomato juice. I always have a few cans in my fridge, as for ginger-ale, I tend to order it restaurants when I want a non-alcoholic sparkling drink other than water. I find that most Asian restaurants tend to stock it. Never order it on flights.
