Hi all

Just thought I'd add my ha'penny here. It's slightly off topic, and for that I apologise. I'm not going to comment on the conversation between Astriker and uk1, as it's not my place to do so - I'm just a new boy on here and am trying to get to grips with the way PC is run, in order to maximise my benefits. Please be assured this is not a comment in any way, shape, or form about Astriker, as I don't know them.

However, leaving that ongoing conversation out of this completely, I do agree with the general sentiment that PC / IHG are masters at not giving clear information to their loyal travellers, and I've said it before in other places on FT.

I've had the situation of receiving different T&Cs at the same time in different forms. When I queried them I was told that the "master" T&Cs in the depths of the website are the only valid ones, and that the ones I received with my renewed plat card at the start of the year are old and wrong (even though the print date on them is Sept 08)

It's also more than a little frustrating that the glossy member guide on the UK website is STILL 2005 after much complaining - and that has more beneficial T&Cs than the "master".

When I continue to complain I get met with a very bland "we're implementing changes and re-training".

Please tell me that this the "less bad" scenario that they are just bad at change control, rather than an attempt to mislead their most loyal customers....
