Thanks guys for CONFIRMING my thoughts

No wonder they want official proof when I changed my account names at AA or Aeroplan (they want copy of passport, or driver license)

Me and my brother do have very similar names, differ by 1 Chinese word (1 english word too), but oh well

I do know the AMEX Small Biz Gold card (25,000 AE signup bonus) can be transferred to ANY AE account # (not necessarily the cardholder's)
