This has never happened to me. I also have never flown Turkish Airlines.

It also is good to know specifically which seat, or row number, you want to be in. Try looking at www.seatguru.com and find exactly where you want to be. Then when you check in you can ask can I be moved to row X or XX? That way you'll get where you want to be or just keep the seat you have.
