According to your theory, the Shangri-La might be 2100m from the island skyline and the Peninsula might be 2000m from the skyline, and therefore the Peninsula has a better view.
No matter that the Shangri-la's 2100m is all water and the Peninsula's 2000m is 1900m of water and 100m of the TST Cultural Center.
Still, if you are on a high enough floow at the Peninsula, the museum is only a slight eyesore that detracts only a little from the view. But to say that the Peninsula's view is better than the Shangri-la ... now that is nonsense.
