, but to the average Australian tourist, they are not the brightest lot as far as International politics are concerned. The mums and pops, who have never been away, never flown anywhere, the young teenagers looking for a rave, it's scary stuff, and they cancel at the first sign of trouble. Show them a newsreport with flames tanks and guns, you might as well try to recommend they fly to Afghanistan. You can't sell them insurance because it costs more, it's a no win situation, this doesn't however excuse an airline from not answering their telephones or looking after people who look after them
