Hi

I am flying Qantas Brisbane to New York in August, with a 2 day stop in LA to start with.

I am thinking about going to Vegas for the two days but wondering about transfer times. My flight from Vegas would arrive back at LAX at 7:20 am on the saturday morning with United. My connecting Qantas flight on to New York then leaves LAX at 9:15 from tom Bradley.

I assume I shouldn't have to go through immigration again onward to New York, so that should cut time down, but is this a realistic window of time to transfer from United arrivals to Qantas terminals? Does anyone know how hectic Tom Bradley can get on a Sat morning? I have been there at night several times and it's quite a spectacle with the sheer volume of people. I am going to try to only have hand luggage on me,(other members of my group are meeting me in NY so they can take my other luggage! ) so that would no doubt help.
