I think he means creative as in finding ways to get past the TSA in other terminals to access other lounges.
And even then you may be turned away. Though I had no trouble getting into the Maple Leaf Lounge in T2 at LAX (no better than the RCC except for free booze), I had trouble getting into the NZ Lounge. I got in, but at first they claimed that they would be responsible for me if the terminal was closed down for security reasons (
) and so I should just go over to the UA lounge.
