Boss has splurged to send me on biz trip to Hong Kong, we are flying on AC7 (YVR-HKG) on what is listed as a 77W in cattle class, (boss said I could go by myself in biz class or I could take my wife but we had to go econo, unfortunately he told her too). As someone who has not flown that lenght of distance before what can we expect in terms of the routine. We are sitting toward the back.

What I want to ask help with more though is on the way back we are first on ANA metal, ANA912 on a 763 from HKG to NRT. The AC agent said that because we are on an ANA plane he could not assign us seats. Is there a way that as soon as we land in HKG that I could call or something to ANA and get us two seats assigned together? Is there a number or a counter or something someone could point me in the right direction to? On a side note, I think my wife is more excited about eating sushi at the NRT airport on the way back. My wife is a silly girl.
