This employee wouldn't happen to belong to a LABOR UNION would she? In that case, the "break" is sacred...like a farmer holds the land secred or how a priest holds the bible sacred. You do NOT violate a BREAK and no, death itself is not an acceptable reason. If it was time for her break in a union shop, nothing...not death, not the second coming of Christ, NOTHING will be allowed to delay the sanctun sanctorum of a BREAK.

We got a contract, pal. Don't make us grieve this. His girlfriend's mother should have died at a different time.
