Folks are mixing apples (EEP SWUs) and oranges (PMUs) here.

Standardgirl mentions "U" class, so I assume this reference is to a PMU and not a SWU. Not sure which instrument others were refering to, but there is good news on the horizon for the PMUs, it looks like these might be useable on DL metal in a few weeks. It's being discussed on the DL board in the context of DL medalion benefits, but the text of the announcement suggests that NW FFs will benefit from reciprocity too (see http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...northwest.html).

But the EEP SWUs are another story, since these are uniquely NW, I dont hold out much hope for these being allowed for use on DL metal.
