Thanks for the tips. I will intend to stay in Macau for at least 1 night. Thinking of any tour packages from HK to have a 2D & 1N in Macau. As I get to HKG on noon 24th July, might then go straight into Shenzen for a week (for business). I leave HKG for SYD on 5th Aug.

Arrive back in HK on 1st Aug then into Macau for 2 nights, then 3rd aug back into HK. As my flight leaves late night on 5th Aug so I still have 2-3 days in HK to do the things I want to do. I guess that might work out.
