Depends a whole lot on your personal preferences; what do you want to see looking out a hotel room window? I've overlooked the runway staying at the PHL Marriott and marveled at how almost no sound came into the room. Despite a love of aviation that includes driving hours to catch airshows and to watch the Concorde from a parking garage rooftop (IIRC) at JFK, I wouldn't put it, or any of the above-mentioned airport properties, on my "good view" list.

My wife and I had a spectacular view of snow-covered mountains and their ski trails from a room at the Breckenridge MVC this time last year. (My wife especially enjoyed the combination of the view and soaking in the outdoor hot tub.) This year we're hoping to see something comparable from either the Boulder or Colorado Springs Marriotts (though we expect the snows on the mountains visible from those locations to be greatly diminished this late in the season).
