" LONDON (AFX) - British Airways PLC is breaking its relationship with American Express, which offers American Express platinum
cardholders two-for-one deals on business and first-class international plane tickets, following disagreement with American Express over
transaction fees the airline pays, the Wall Street Journal reported without citing sources.
According to the Journal, American Express has this deal with a long list of airlines, but more people have booked their seats on BA
than on any other airline.
American Express is replacing BA with two new partners: Virgin Atlantic Airways and Delta Air Lines Inc."
