Yah, I thought it was weird too. I asked the wonderful Rosalin for some and she brought me a packet of them. On the return, the staff went around the cabin to offer them.

As for more cabin views or shots outside the plane, you know the flight leaves about 2pm from Rome and this was before the time change, so very quickly, it was dark outside. Somewhere over Greece is got dark and it was nighttime the rest of the way there. They shut the blinds for us before serving dinner. And the flight arrived at 6am. The sun was barely peaking up when we arrived in BKK. In fact, when we came in for the landing, it was still kind of dark, but by the time we pulled up to the jetway, it was a bit lighter. I don't think we had a chance to see the sunrise.
