Generally I speak to people with little or no customer service experience and poor speaking skills when I call VX. I've had one VX phone agent who was extremely helpful, and even called me back later to follow up with an issue, but even he lacked the basic etiquette you get from a phone rep who has been well trained (working for, say AMEX).
