Whether you take that segment or not is up to you. Note that if you do not, you could be charged the full cost of the routing you travelled (which would be invariably a lot more than the original cost of your xONEx). I have come across no reports of this actually happening however.

Most could use a one-time credit card number or just a credit card that will get useless after the trip...
My real concern is losing the FFP...
