The Inter-Continental, is downtown, not near a beach. It is a popular place for business execs with meetings downtown as well as tourists on overnights b/4 after cruises.

I liked this hotel quite a bit, Club Floor is the only way to go, except the afternoon food was not that great (boxed stuff put together) but free drinks (including alcohol I think) slow computer, but big and large dining room for meals/private parties/meetings, view of the city though. I TV in lounge, they do have pretty impressive suites. Not anywhere near RC, Miami does not have a Four Seasons, South Beach area may be too far for just b/4 after fly in/out.

From my point of view try an IC Club Floor Room.
