Planes as old as a WW11 bomber, Starbucks coffee (wow), booze you can pay for, a movie screen you can't see, food - well kind of, uncomfortable seats & excess baggage on surfboards/sports equip. Lucky they are cheap or how could United possibly hope to compete with Qantas or ANZ on the Australia routes. Even their Asia routes have to match Singapore, Thai, Malaysia and Cathay that kill them on all of these things. I know the Airlines are in trouble but nickle & dimeing customers to death for inferior service just sends them elsewhere.
I agree. No reason to EVER fly United on Award now. Glad I took NH, SQ, and TG to asia. I think United is making a mistake.
