There are people in every company, in every industry, who go on solo missions behind enemy lines because they believe their process or management aren't correct.

In fact, we applaud when pilots do what they're sure is right, rather than what they're told to do, in holding late flights for connecting passengers. (Too lazy to find the thread to ink to it.) Lots of times FTers say they support the front-line employees, and not their management or what they're given to work with. This is a good example of the same situation but in the opposite direction, and you can't have it both ways.

Not every situation is the same, and we don't agree with every decision, but it's pretty normal to see people do stuff like this. I actually get much more annoyed when it's people working for my company doing stuff I don't agree with than when a CSA does this. With the CSA, at least you had the option to find another one.
