The drink chit rule may not be written down by AA, possibly, because it's not an AA rule. It's a oneWorld rule that AA must abide by to be a member of OW. From my understanding business class lounges must provide drinks for international travelers who qualify for access to the lounges. Since AA lounges dont' give out drinks, you get the chits.

If I were looking from documentation, I would check with OW. Of course, AA has posted lounge access rules that are OW rules on their website, so it would logically hold that they would post drink rules too, but, hey, it AA.
