Almost, they are BAA staff not G4S. For domestic flights at the gate the BAA have contracted their role to G4S, but in the Domestic FCC it is actual BAA staff. They do not have access to the BA system and they are not trained in any passport or visa requirements so they cannot clear you to go through.
