dublin, by contrast

screening at dublin yesterday (BMI to LHR) security man as I put my bag on the rollers 'anything sharp, any rulers?' (well, that's what I thought he said) ; then my bag is rejected 'umbrella in this one!' and it comes back. I realised he had said 'any umbrellas' but I hadn't heard properly.

Me: Sorry. I didn't hear you properly. Apologies
Nice man: Don't worry about it. No problem.

That was it. No shouting (as at PHX when I hadn't taken my laptop out of my bag), no rudeness (T5, when explaining the system to clearly confused pasengers)

Just a pleasant man, doing his job. They should export him to teach the BAA people
