An odd but recurring problem for me

Now that the cheaper airfares earns SC's but I need my *G for space +, I book with my MP number and then change to my NZ number at the airport

My NZ number is **000**. However if I change my MP number to my NZ one at a Kiosk, it "loses" one of the 0's to become **00**. Happened 3 times for me now and hence my SC don't automatically credit and I need to call in. Of course the CSR's can change the number without problems

Seems odd that the check in kiosks have such a problem
