I must agree Domestic to International connections at LGW are a joke. Why they can't just use a secure route to the departures lounge beggars belief.

Can anyone comment on domestic T5 to T4 connections these days? Is it (relatively) painless or am I better off just going landside and hoping on a train?

(edited to add: just spotted my typo - meant to say 'hopping' not 'hoping' on a train - on reflection both are valid so I'll leave it!! )
