I called the DD to find out what benefits Diamonds get at the Edgewater hotel in Naples. Well Dorothy tells me I would get the same as at a Hilton, so I ask is this a Hilton? She then sighs and says hold on. A minute later she is back and says it is a Waldorf. I say ok what benefits do I get? She states, you get your diamond benefits just like Hilton. So I say, then I get a room upgrade and she says based on availability just like Hilton, and I say thats not what a diamond gets at Hilton. I remind her that diamonds get a room upgrade. Not if available. More sighs from Dorothy. She then asks if thats all I need. By this point I am ready to just hang up anyway.
I then go to Edgewaters web page, and please help me, but I find not one hint that this place is a Waldorf! Do they even train these Diamond Desk folks? It is bad when I know more about Hilton then they do. Rant off.

I just wrote Hilton C/S and asked them to please get me the info I need and for these fine folks at the D/D to get the training needed to answer a customers simple questions.
