You can quite easily not have to stop at LHR to have your passport/boarding pass checked. When you get to your airport of departure go to a member of staff (this could even be at the lounge entrance) and ask them to swipe your passport and to a conformance check, then when you get to LHR you can go straight through the ready to fly desk without having to see anyone.
