As a rule Virgin dont comp even to Silver. I recently thried to have a colleage comped to Silver and there was a resounding no. A corporate deal may change that. You only need to do 3 rtn in J to earn gold. A UK platinum Amex will get you the principal benifit namely the use of the clubhouse
