I've checked the travel pack and what you say seems to be correct.....all a bit confusing.

What has worried me is the bit in section B) 1.2 where it states you have to have paid by amexplat but as you point out this is just the suplementary stuff.

And there's me having paid for every single bit of travel (incurring the odd 4% booking fee) with my amexplat when I needn't have.

You realise now this means I can book holidays on 'proper' credit cards and not have to pay for them at the end of the month.
My bank manager WILL be please....
