To be more specific then. And of course recognising that when you generalise your always on rather "fertile" ground.

My experiences will not be typical of the whole wide world. They are from my own limited experiences only and therefore form to become a potential misinformed prejeudice.

I have found people from Singapore to be much friendlier than British people. (I am British).

I have found Italians less likely to queue than British people.

I have found the French less tolerant of non-French speakers than the Germans are of non-German speakers.

I find the Austrians like Brits more than they like Germans. They understand my German often easier than they find a German's German.

All of these are terrible generalisations that I can think that will both enrage and infuriate others and even though they are my generalisations I can think of exceptions.

So in that spirit, is it my imagination or can Americans be more demanding on flights than say Brits? Do Americans resort to the "Do You Know Who I Am" more than say the Brits? Do they demand upgrades more than Brits? Do Brits accept "NO" more easier than Americans.

Feel free to add to my ponderances.
