In regards to rudeness, I have just tried to stop figuring it out. I have had some of the sweetest, nicest FAs, who are so nice to me, we chat, its great. Then suddenly they snap at another PAX and treat them like a little kid for no apparent reason.

One such example, Exit row on a CRJ. FA was walking the aisle. Did the exit briefing to me, I said Yes, she asked could you push your bag a little further under the seat to keep the exit row clear. I pushed it further. very pleasant interaction.

She turns to the PAX on the other side of the Aisle, does the briefing, and says, "Your bags are blocking the exit row, put them in the bin, or you'll have to gate check them." They pushed the bags further under and they were completely clear of the exit row. She came back and said, "what did I tell you, you can't have bags like that if your in an exit row." They showed here that they were under enough, and she finally said, "Fine, Ill let it go this time."

I talked to them later and asked what that was about. They had no idea. The two of them and I were both the same status, on the same airline.

I have had other similar experiences. There must be something else to the picture, but I can't figure it out. Why isn't everyone treated the same?
