As a non-business class, non-frequent flyer, I am trying to book a flight via AC to Germany. The first thing I'm finding is that I have a choice between flights operated by AC and flights operated by Lufthansa - which should I opt for?

Second, I have a choice of flying into either Frankfurt or Hamburg . . . which would be easier to navigate, etc.? (Hamburg, of course, involves connections through FRA on the way in and MUC on the way out.)

Lastly, how much transit time should I allow for in Toronto?

Would appreciate any suggestions from those of you who have already been there and done that . . . . Thanks!
