Staying in Sheraton Miami Mart for two nights, a couple of years ago, I was also very sceptical and had many remaining complaints at check-out, not taken care of or fixed.
MoD offered a voucher for 50% off next stay, saying he would personally see to that I got one of their best rooms. Returning in 7 months, room was worse, cancelled two of total three nights. This property was nowhere near Sheraton standard.
