For 777ER, definitely go for the front smaller C cabin with only 2 rows of seats, seat 11A or 11K, just behind the F cabin. More private. More leg room, with bigger foot rest.

For A380, there is a smaller front C cabin with 5 rows of seats. Try to avoid 11A or 11K. Smaller TV screen, seat less wide, and almost windowless. I found 12A or 12K better. If that fails, then 17A and 17K in the main C cabin. 18A and 18K not bad.
