Yeah, gotta love that $2.70/day one-way from FL to NY. It requires a 2 day minimum, but for a 16 hour drive, the low price, and the option of dropoff almost anywhere, that's not such a bad thing. Alamo/National will do it for
$20/day, 2 day minimum, and they have fewer neighborhood branches. Last fall it was $1/day NY to FL from Dollar's corporate locations in NYC.
