It will be more miles, but you'll have to suffer domestic F for HNL-SFO leg.

BTW, I'm in a similar run right now; as a matter of fact, I'm writing this in krisflyer gold lounge.
ORD-HKG this monday was operated by N171UA which is old config.
I regret not taking JFK-SFO-HKG-SIN instead of LGA-ORD-HKG.
