I did end up staying here. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the property and would highly recommend it.
I was booked in a club level room, which was upgraded in advance to a Jr. Suite on the club level. Not huge by any means, but nice enough for one person.
There are a couple restaurants in the hotel - I ate at the Tex-Mex for dinner a couple times and the other one for breakfast. Both were surprisingly decent, but again, nothing great.
About the location - the Sheraton is not in the city center, at least not the city center I think you'll want to see. The "nice" old part of town is maybe a 15-20 minute walk away, so there are probably closer hotels than the Sheraton.
Unfortunately I can't comment much on the city itself since I was working nonstop and only managed to escape the hotel or the office for a couple of meals and no sightseeing.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more specific questions.
