Another nail in the coffins of each of the legacy carriers. The brilliant thing about these two city pairs is they directly or indirectly hit each of the legacies at hubs or key products, DL (Shuttle), AA (CHI and NYC), UA (CHI and WAS), US (Shuttle), and CO (NYC). Those routes are just screaming for more capacity, say 737-800's with 177 or so passengers (wouldn't suggest 189 like Ryan Air does, a bit tight, 177 is Ryan Air's configuration less one row each before and after the overwing exits), though I know GK was quoted in another thread today about how WN is supposedly incapable of scheduling 4 FA's to a plane, which seems odd to me.
