No, no, no. Bad OP. You've got, let's count them, April, May, June, July, August, September - six months to get however many more TPs you need to retain Silver. And there's a ton of Club sales on, including one ending tomorrow. £3200 will, for example, net you two lovely return trips to the fine city of New York, going out in First and back in Club and get you 600 TPs right there. So even if you haven't got a single little TP this year and don't want to fraudulently put down a false European address, you can retain your status with ease and style. (There are cheaper and nastier ways to do it to, which I will leave to the experts on that sort of thing to explain.

(The only effect status may have on your baggage allowance, though, is to get you a 32kg per bag limit on your WTP leg instead of, possibly, a 23kg one. You definitely get 3 bags anyway.)
